Laura Rose is a multidisciplinary designer and writer from Dublin, Ireland. Her work focuses on innovative ways to tell a story.
In 2018, she used data visualization to expose difficult truths behind Ireland’s abortion ban.
That same year she constructed a site-specific exhibition on the streets of Dublin in response to the homeless crisis in Ireland.
To form an understanding of the complex country she was born in she rode a motorcycle across the United States just herself, a camera, and a tent.
Traveling to a remote island off the coast of Galway, Laura documents the aftermath of a global pandemic in an already isolated place.
New forms of media are creating new ways for people to record, express, and consume stories. Whether it be a book, a film, a photograph, or a piece of text, Laura’s aim is to communicate a message in its most emotionally engaging manner.
Currently residing in New York City, her focus lies in the documentation of life and culture in America.
